Hens Eating Eggs (help)

My girls have eaten a couple of eggs, but those eggs were always laid out in their run or dropped from the roost. So now I make sure that their nest box bedding is fresh, fluffy and clean, everyone has a nest to lay in when they want (3 hens with 3 nests). I built their nests on the north wall which is the darkest area of the coop.

Keep track of egg production, whenever our egg production drops...I suspect someone is snacking on a egg

Some people have had success filling blown out eggs with mustard, horseradish or liquid soap. Make sure the nests are dark, some people even have curtains in front of the nests. The fake eggs are a must.
I broke mine I think by being diligent and rearranging things in the coop, adding 5 gal buckets as nests. I think I shook them up a little.

Good luck
