Then once they get the taste its hard to stop! We stopped one of our girls by putting wodden eggs in the nests. She didnt like those as much

If you have one egg eater, it probably will spread like wildfire through the flock and you might want to separate her quickly to prevent this. Using hard fake eggs will discourage them from starting as they will peck it and nothing happens (as victoriacl said).
