My flock had it. Lasted bout two weeks then died out.

If it is fowl pox, mark your calendar for 10 to 11 months from now to vaccinate them for it. You have to vaccinate yearly

My first guess was frost bite too but it's too warm for that already isn't it?
Second guess would be the beginning of fowl pox.
Do you have a lot of flying bugs right now?

It is a vector born illness--spread from other birds via mosquito.

Fowl pox must be in the area for them to get it

It looks like injury to the skin, such as pecking or more likely running into fencing, possibly from bullying.
