I had become lazy and was keeping the packed shavings in the run. It was easier to have in there so I could just refill boxes or clean out when I had a sudden urge and didn't have to drag it in and out.
Over the weekend, two girls saw me refilling a nesting box out of the package bag. They became very interested. I put it back against the side, out of their way, and almost immediately one of them jumped in and started scratching around. I thought she was cute and funny, so I made sure she couldn't get stuck, pulling down the edges. For the last two days she has been laying in there, and today her sister joined her. I guess I will have to stop being lazy!

But, have they left any eggs in there?

Yes, for two days I found eggs. Today it seemed she went back to her nesting box.
