Hens laying later in day since the temp dropped.

Anyone else see this?

Now its only been 2 days so maybe a fluke, but usually I have eggs (at least one) by 8am, but the last 2 nights have been 20-25 degrees and they aren't laying until midafternoon.

Maybe it's fluke...maybe it is the temps but they will acclimate to it after a few weeks.

Sounds like a normal thing to me that they would not lay until they've defrosted a bit for the day.

Same has happened with my hens, usually had 2 eggs by 930 and 2 more by noon. I was getting 2 eggs a day from 6 hens then for 3 days I got 4 eggs now I'm back down to 2.

I'm getting the same daily egg counts, I use supplemental lighting, they are just laying them later in the day.
