Hens laying!

I'm new to chickens so this is my first flock that are about 5 months old now. My red sex link layed a little bit ago. One egg every day. Impressive! Today there were three eggs! Two brown and one little white one. I'm so excited! Can't wait for more! Should have one more laying soon. Then my Cochin bantam when she's old enough. Those will be fertilized. I have a beautiful white roo. My Silkies have chicks so they will be a while. Love my chickens so much!

Congrats on the eggs! One of my 7 girls started laying over the weekend. I find myself checking the nesting boxes regularly for my egg surprises

I am very new to chickens so this is exciting!

Congrats! I sold off all my layers back in march (12 birds) and got 65 babies. Now Im playing the waiting game. I don't think I will ever go without having at least some chickens around that lay. This waiting is for the birds!
