Hens leg fell off

I have no suggestions as I've never managed a one legged chicken. She is very pretty and it sounds like she IS living in chicken paradise doing all the fun things chickens like to do. She'll be happier to have company soon with her flock mates.
There are others here who have managed with one legged chickens. Hopefully, they can offer some suggestions.

Hi guys! turnip is still doing good. she took a dirt bath earlier.

I came here to ask - because she doesnt move around alot there always seems to be a couple of flys near her.
Because her leg had fly strike before, im wondering what i can put on her to deter the flys from her.

Her leg is healed now, and the flys dont go near her legs. They just sit on her back and what not.

Still makes me nervous though, having flys around her. If anyone knows what to put on her that would be great!!

Look into fly spray. We use them on the horses to help deter flies. I'd use some on her.
