Hens loosing tail feathers?

It appears to be normal feather replacement like occuring in my American Dominiques. Near complete loss of flight feathers although blood feather replacements should be evident but covered by the fluffy body feathers. I think this is typical of breeds with the slow feather growth pattern.

Before, I was picturing raggedy looking butts, but this looks normal and healthy.

I agree make sure the hens are getting enough protein. Our hens lay right through their moult. We had hens with hard red skin one year due to sunburn. You should add oystershell to their diet . Sunflower seeds are good too . They help the feathers look great.
