Right, generally broken, worn and rubbed off feathers won't be replaced until she molts.

Broken feathers can be due to feather picking.

To wrap this thread up… I purchased some Rooster Booster Wound Spray and I’ve sprayed it on the impacted feather follicle every day, and now it’s completely healed! You can hardly tell the follicle was ever impacted at all.
