Hens missing feathers in middle of chest self picking

RIR hens pulled feathers from chest about 1 to 2 inch circle has anyone seen this before and what is wrong and cure?

Is the hen broody?

sounds like a blood spot. they pluck it so they can contact their skin to eggs they are incubating. she must be wantin' to be a mama.
