I have 4 red sex link hens and 3 of them are missing feathers down to raw skin in the front of their necks. One of them is missing all the feathers around the vent area. This is not molting as it started several months ago and feathers have not grown back. I haven’t witnessed any fighting or pecking that I can tell for sure and they are laying every day just fine with the exception of one of my hens eggshells are very fragile.I keep oyster shells in the run and in the coop as a source of calcium but they don’t look like they care about it too much. Not sure if that has anything to do with the missing feathers or not or the issue is some sort of pest like mites or maybe disease. Hopefully someone on this forum has dealt with this before and may have some ideas. Any and all help is appreciated. Thank you!

:welcome My guess is that the one bird that is in perfect feather condition is feather pecking/plucking the others. Do an on site search on Pin Less Peepers. Sometimes they can help to break this bad habit.

Thank you for the advice! I will look into those...
