Hens not laying after move?

We just received a couple of laying hens a few days ago, but neither of them have laid since we got them. I figured it was the stress of the change. How long typically before they will start laying again?

A few weeks, they have to feel safe.
There's an off chance they may not lay again until spring.

It could be a few weeks before they start laying. Keep in mind that in the Northern Hemisphere chickens start molting at this time, and then it will be winter when most birds slow or stop laying. You may not get any eggs from them until spring next year.

If the birds are older than 12 months this could likely happen.
