Hens not receptive.

I notice that my hens are not receptive of the roos. I have a Delaware roo and a friz bantam.
The Del does seem interested in the hens but they are not the least bit interested in him.
The hens are of different breeds though there are some Dels but only one or two seem to be getting or letting him give them attention. Why? 4 of them came with him but only 2 seem to be getting mated.

They aren't mature enough yet? That would be my guess.

No these girls are all laying and the 4 Dels hens are all the same age.

The roos hasn't proven themselves yet.
I have one girl that the roo doesn't even try with anymore. She's kick his butt and then some.

I now have a marans roo who has a pretty red comb and isn't crowing but he shows no interest either. He is a big guy too.
