hens not roosting on poles

My hens are roosting on the stud braces in the coop? Should I put up a inside wall? Will they lay eggs there?

Are you saying your hens are roosting on cross braces between the studs? I don't think that should be a problem, except for getting poop all over the walls! They do have proper roosts too, right? Assuming that you have nest boxes that they like, I doubt they'd choose to lay their eggs up on the cross braces. If you really don't want them to roost on the cross braces, you could put up interior walls, or you could just tack pieces of wood or hardware cloth at an angle over the braces.
