hens on different cycles?

I have 4 hens at the moment, and 1 day I get 3 eggs 1 day none next day 2 and then 3 again... are your hens on different cycles?

Yes, exactly. The EE just started laying again so I'll have green eggs for a couple weeks.

My girls do the same thing! Some days I get 7 and some days only 5. Today they only laid 4. I have 8 hens and 1 rooster.

My girls seem to be on the same cycle! I have 9 hens, some days I get 9, some days 7 or 8, the next day, I might get 7 or 8, then BAM I might get only 2/3 eggs! Then it starts all over...
