One of my girls was fine earlier today and tonight we found alone sleeping behind a bush. She sounded raspy a bit and one would stay closed while the other opened. What can I do for her? I rubbed Vetrx on her nostril and gave electrolytes. She’s eating ok.

Looks like she has dried blood on her face. Perhaps she's been in a tussle, roughed up by a rooster or injured somehow.

I'd flush the eye with saline, gently removing the blood and dried on debris. Apply an ointment like Terramycin eye ointment or Original Neosporin IN the eye and surrounding tissue.

Look inside the beak for any dried blood or lesions, she may have aspirated a bit of blood or something since she's sounding raspy.

Check her crop in the morning before she eats/drinks to make sure it's emptying.

Thank you, I will try this and check her out. I separated her for the time being to see how she does. She usually gets out of there area because one of the hens and the rooster pick on her and 2 others. Shes finally growing back feathers all over and likes to hang out with my ducks.

It's good you got it open.
I'd just clean it and put the ointment in at least 2X a day if possible.

Hopefully in a couple of more days you'll see a big improvement.
She opens it for a second and then closes it. I hope it’ll heal. We just lost another Hen 😞 but I think that was age. Some are 8 years old.
