Can anyone help me tell if they are hens or roos? The black was the first to develope the comb, but all of a sudden the mottled dark one has a redder comb and small wattles. The palest chick has flesh colored comb and not noticeable wattles. The black also has un-noticible wattles. They are approx.5 weeks old. Serama chicks. (might help if I added the picture) here they are:

The buff is a pullet for sure, the Mottled brown is a cockerel for sure. The black, in this pic, looks also like a cockerel. they must be around 3 1/2 weeks?

The black was the first to hatch and develope the comb at about a week old, so I thought for sure a roo, but then last week, the mottled brown one all of a sudden seemed to sprout a darker red comb and wattles! The black one has no wattles that can be seen and his comb is a yellowish color with the black splotches. If that helps.

I would hold off on a final appraisal of the sex of the black one for quite sometime. Ussually Seramas are obvious, but not always. I will take any of your rejects
