Hen or Roo? Blue Cochin

These 2 lovely Blue Cochins are 5months old...are they hens or roos? They havent done the squadding yet when i walk up to them but their combs and wattles have been red for a few weeks now.
I know Cochins are slow to develop but we cant have roosters and these are 4h project chickens

At five months old I think they are hens, probably close to laying?

I concur. And, the 2nd one is more developed and probably closer to laying by the looks of her.

Thank you everyone. They are very sweet girls and im glad my kiddo doesnt have to change his 4H trio and can keep Queen and Coco. Now i just hope they start laying soon hahahhaha
