I used to have one just like that brown one with the white tail. What breed is she? I never knew, she was a rescue bird. Someone found her behind a supermarket, took her to the feed store my sister worked at, and my sister called me to come check her out.

She didnt talk ot move at all until I got there and started talking to her and handling her. the manager was blown away. Took her home and she became my lap chicken. Sweetest thing ever!

I'm actually not sure. We got them at Murdochs. She is very sweet she always lets us pet her.

I wonder if it's just a trait of that breed. I was guessing she was a golden comet, I think it was called, just a hybrid sex-linked egg laying breed. But she was such a sweetie!!

How old are they?
A couple look close to laying...boys would have been crowing for weeks by now.

All are pullets. The red/white bird is a red sex link of some sort, and if she is not laying she will soon be doing so.
