Roosters vs. Hens
So . . . . I have 9 Black Australorps and am trying be sure which are Roosters because it's freezer camp time.
[ The roosters have started to crow - which won't work in my neighbourhood. ]
The birds are 8 weeks old.
6 have large combs and waddles.
3 have little or no comb, and none of these 3 have waddles.

What to you guys think ?
The last thing I want to do is send a young hen to freezer camp !
Right now, I'm leaning toward any of my 8 week old Birds with big comb and waddles is a Rooster and is going to freezer camp.
The others with a small or non-existent comb - and no waddles - is a hen.
