We have a flock of 13 hens. We had to leave town for the holiday and had someone checking on them. With the freezing rain, snow and 30 MPH winds, we had her close the door to the run. She sent us a picture of them and 5 of them had been pecked above the tails and are bloody - I assume due to being bored? The coop isn't quite set up for that many and usually they do well with the large run attached. We are having her open the door to the run and we will be home tomorrow - any other suggestions?

We just tried the blue kote on 3 chicks from peck marks. BAD idea . Put them back in the pen and the rest attacked the blue on the sick ones. Total isolation for them now .
