Hens squatting

I don't have a Roo anymore either. I gave my Roo away and now only have hens and pullets. I really don't notice any difference in my girls behavior.
 
My boyfriend has 17 hens and one roo. His girls all squat just like mine do without a roo. I think it's just normal... what do you think?
