Hens stopped laying on Monday. Haven't seen an egg since. Could wildfire smoke be the cause?

We came home from vacation on Saturday and had 8 eggs from our 8 girls. Sunday the smoke/haze started coming south from the Fires in British Columbia. We had 4 eggs that day. Since then we have had zero. I am cleaning out the run tonight. Put new wood chips in the coop and cleaned it out yesterday thinking maybe they were upset because I hadn't done it in a couple weeks. Then got to thinking that it could be the smoke? Would this make sense?

6 of our girls are under 2. 2 are around 5.

Could be the smoke...could be the new bedding(mine don't like that)...could be they are slowing/stopping laying to molt.
