Some advice needed...several of the hens in my layer flock (NO ROOSTERS at my house) have been losing their head feathers. I thought it was molting but it is still continuing and more hens are starting to lose theirs as well, with no pin feathers showing.

I've checked for bugs and there are none, other than the loss of head feathers, they are super healthy and laying like crazy.

The flock is very content, there isn't any pecking or anything so I don't think they are doing this to each other.

Has anyone had experience with something like this?

Well, from my own experience, the best thing to do is pull up a chair and watch some "Chicken TV" for about an hour if you can. You may find that one of your hens is pulling feathers. If your hens are confined and a wee bit crowded, this will happen.

Look for the hen with a full head of feathers, and you might just have your feather puller.

LOL

Well they are a pretty content flock, in a nice big run, with free ranging time, but some chicken TV sounds like a great idea anyway...I can sit and do nothing but still say I'm doing something! :)
