I’m new to owning chickens and I got 3 hens that refuse to come out of the coop. I added 2 new hens to the flock and they came out no issues. One from the older flock is a little escape artist and keeps going over the fence into neighbors goat field. Should I be worried they won’t come out on their own?

Yes. Put the water and food outside. Also you could put there favorite snacks out. To keep the hen on your side maybe make the fence taller. I don’t really know. Could you send pics of the fence so I know how tall it is. Also the coop please to see if I can spot a problem

They actually came out today quite a few times on there own. I put apples and there food and water in the yard and they hung out for a bit.

We plan on making the fence taller if she won’t stay in the yard. She’s the only one who sneaks over and she doesn’t even go far she stays within 20 feet of her coop. I just worry about her running into their chickens and fighting. When I hopped over th fence she of course ran from back to the coop. She definitely knows where she’s supposed to be
