Hens won't use ramp to go into coop

When they were young I had to put more cross-grips on mine, too.

Perhaps the ramp angle is a bit too steep for them? I stacked three 12" square garden pavers on top of each other in the corner of the run where the ramp lands, and it softened the angle quite a bit. The chooks can easily use the pavers for a step to get onto the ramp. Even raising the bottom end a couple of inches can reduce the ramp angle quite a bit.

I stapled sandpaper between the "steps/cleats" to provide traction.

Wow and thanks!! I added grip tape and added two stones underneath to help the steepeness and PRESTO they're now using the ramp
