Hens wont use roll away nest boxes

After having some issues with chickens sleeping in nest boxes and eating eggs and eggs just generally getting dirty we decided to install some roll away nest boxes. I put them in their old nest boxes, that they were previously laying happily in.

The hens are refusing to lay in the roll away and I'm finding eggs all over the coop and run instead.

Can anyone advise on how to get them laying in the roll away nest boxes?

Are the rollaways unstable or shaky or something as they shouldn't really know the difference.

You could try putting a couple of golf balls or plastic eggs in the nests.
