Hi All I rescued 10 battery hens last year and a cockeral which was going to be killed. Never had birds before but love them.
We have a big field so loads of room. I've recently bought an incubator and hatched 4 chicks for my granddaughter.
I'm now hatching silkies.

They are. I've 2 dogs and 2 cats as well and they all get a long just fine! I'm just really worried about a couple of my hens at the mo. I think they have vent gleet. Posted a message on the illnesses thread
