Hepzibeth will not lay!

So I have two Muscovy ducks, a Male and a female. Heppie lays eggs, but not all the time. She may lay an egg a day for a couple weeks and then quit for months. Is there anything I can do to encourage her to lay more?

Honestly I have no clue...she could not be more than two or three...my chickens lay very well.

What's the question? The older a chicken/duck is the less egg's they will produce each year, I'm not sure of there accuracy, but there are many graphs on online charting chicken/duck egg production decline over a period of time.

Could it be because my drake is aggressive? I'm trying my hardest to find another female so he will not be as hard in her, but no success so far.

If your drake is overmating her that would definitely contribute to her egg production.

Reduce Stress as much as possible for her, and provide a soft/clean/dark area for her to lay.

I was wondering if I could give Niacin to my older chickens- who seem to have the beginning symptoms the article described.
