Hepzibeth will not lay!

I was wondering if I could give Niacin to my older chickens- who seem to have the beginning symptoms the article described.

Hi!

I'd be glad to answer your question over on the niacin article, that way people with a similar problem can see it, and we don't steal the OP's thread. Go ahead and post of there, and I'll be along.

Yeah, I'm thinking your drakes aggression towards her is the main cause of her drop in egg production, I would suggest getting rid of your drake and buying a few hens for her, she'd be much happier.

Oh dear...I can't get rid of Henry. Right now I'm trying to find another hen, but since COVID-19 hit its been a losing battle. Hopefully soon. She is very healthy otherwise. I have heard that Muscovy ducks tend to be aggressive toward their females.

Hi! Just thought I'd give an update here. I still have Henry and Hepzibeth, although I have not been having as much of a problem with aggression because Heppie has been sitting. I followed some advice given here, and got Heppie another female duck, Hyacinth. So far so good. Heppie loves her, although Hepzibeth is currently in "duck jail" because I'm breaking her up again. I have not introduced her to Henry yet, and am going to wait until tomorrow when I put Heppie back. Any other suggestions? I appreciate any help! Hopefully this will help out with the aggressiveness!
