So I see the cures and fixes for a lot of things, but what are yalls best prevention practices when it comes to natural/herbal supplementation? Best to prevent than treat

There's not much that can be given that can do any prevention in reasonable amounts that also won't possibly cause side effects. Herbs, especially purified oils or supplements, can be harmful if done incorrectly as all helpful compounds can be harmful i f used wrong.
I'd reccomended talking to a professional naturopathic vet. :]
If it can help, it can harm

So there is nothing thats beneficial to chooks and their health unless its treatment?

Dried or fresh Oregano is what I use regularly for my chickens as well as herbal tea brewed from thyme, sage, oregano and aniseed.

Brewer's yeast to provide B vitamins, natural greek yoghurt, curd cheese for additional protein and probiotics.

After deworming my chickens get Moro carrot soup to help restore a healthy gut.

Medicinal charcoal in case they have eaten something toxic.

Fresh apples without core for added vitamin C to help with calcium uptake for a strong egg shell.

Sprouting barley, wheat and field peas.
