Another herb enthusiast here!
As of this year, I'm growing rosemary, sage, parsely, dill, oregano, lemon balm, thyme, echinacea, yarrow, feverfew, bee balm, apple mint, peppermint, calamint, calendula, cilantro, chives, garlic, comfrey and catnip.
I direct sowed chamomile seeds this spring but no sign of that one sprouting. I'd no sooner surface-sowed the dust-like seeds and it pretty much rain all of April and May so there's no telling where it ended up.
Our basil did so well last year that we dried most of it (using a food dehydrator) and still have plenty to use this year for cooking. I'll still do a few sweet basil plants this year as we like to use the leaves on our sandwhiches instead of lettuce sometimes.
I don't use a website, either but have several herb books that I would be lost without.
srvchickgal and dshappychicks,
I'll take some root cuttings of my comfrey for you both, if you haven't found it yet, and will send them to you in the fall or next spring (weather depending), Just let me know!
