Here’s my incubator pics

And here’s what you do with your mother-in laws antique junk. I put a 65 watt bulb in because I felt the heat lamp bulb was getting way to hot. The metal fixture was really hot

So here’s a question. I’ve used a humidifier that heats the water and blows it into my incubator and the result was the temp got hotter inside the box. Now I have a ultrasonic one and that drops my temp a half of a degrees or alittle more form the cool mist. Would you not worry about it? My target temp is 100* and it drops to 99-99.5. What are some other options for pumping humidity into the incubator that won’t require me to constantly worrying if there’s enough for to much humidity. I have a digital humidity controller so want to use that

Raising or lowering the humidity is always going to impact your temperature temporarily. Water is great heat sink. I would think the rise or drop in temperature is only when the humidifier kicks on? How long does it run usually? I imagine the eggs are holding a much more constant temp than your thermometer due to their large mass.

Yea it’s only when it kicks in. It only drops for prob 1min or 2 at the most but yea the eggs are maintaining I think
