Here are my small brooders and more chicks - PICS

The first one is a 60 gallon livestock tub and only about 18 inches high.

The second one is the stage 2 brooder for when they start flying out of the little one. This one is 110 gallon tub and about 2.5 feet high.

Irajoe - the chicks are projects I am working on. They are lavender orps in progress and the 2 black chicks in that brooder are tufted tailed araucana that carry the lavender gene.

I'm sorry Ellen.

I wish everyone could have chicks like we do. Of course, I don't wish all the work on anyone...just the fun stuff.

I hope you're at least enjoying my peeps until you have some of your own.

I was hoping the brooder set ups would be helpful to others to see the different sizes we use as the chicks keep outgrowing their space.

That's alot of pretty lavender peeps! Very nice. I like the stock tanks brooders.
