how big do they have to be to tell what sex they are? i listen to their quacks and i think i have it figured out then they start getting louder

not real sure the little black one walking away already has adult feathers coming in around his/her wings i have only had them a week and a day i go out with them and sit and listen to them they sound like they are chriping but when i pick them up they go crazy making quacking sounds they werent handled very much where they were im trying to get them used to me but im almost sure the two pekins are males because their quacks start out raspy but when they quack they all start to quack and pekins get louder

It is much easier to flip them over to sex them when they are little. I watched a youtube video on the topic and it helped a lot, although the whole process was kind of weird for me and for my ducks...
