I live in a small city in NC called Kannapolis and raise backyard chickens. I only have one acre so space limits me in how many chickens I can have. If I had the space, there would be so much more...LOL

I line in the little town of Rockingham. I have 30 to 40 hens and 2 roos.

To start with I only got one hoping it was a hen in hopes of it going broody. Turned out to be a roo but I've fallen in love with silkies now lol. This roo has even let chicks under him to keep warm. He's raised a lot of our babies lol.
