So I have 7 grown hens, 18 young pullets, and 40 chicks. lovely DH said I could keep 15 chickens total....the others I promised to sell. He said he only wants to see 15 chickens free ranging in the backyard. Well today my neighbor stops over and says she is going to get some of her own chickens...I said "Oooo I have some you can buy." She is thrilled and is going to buy 12 from me..... How FUNNY is it gonna be when DH sees 27 chickens running from our yard to hers and back and when he says "Honey I thought I told you to sell some of your chickens?" I just have to say "But Honey I did.....to the neighbor." (mind you I'll have a very angelic face
