Real cute. I love the roof. I wanted to do a roof like that but had no idea how to do it. Your silkies are lucky. How many do you have? My plan (I keep reminding DH) next spring is to build another coop and get myself a few. Have fun and

It is about 30" off of ground so I can get under there and clean or grab chicks. I will post pictures of how the sagging ridge was built. the inside of coop is 8x8 insulated and with lights.

here is the ridge before rafters. it is cut out of advantech 3/4" flooring. then braced.
