Yep...Gorgeous yellow fluff ball with orange beak and feet... Pekins... In a couple of weeks you will hear a difference in the voice if its a girl- but with no others to compare it to- Makes things a little more difficult.

With my Pekins I was able to tell the sex for sure around 12-14 weeks because the Gals had a definate quack coming out, between 14- 16 weeks the Drakes started to show the curl on their tail. I hatched a Pekin in the house last September and that little booger talked almost non stop, even when sleeping so I told my Husband it had to be a girl (I've never seen a drake talk this much)...sure enough she's a girl LOL

Ducky is only 4 weeks old....its name will be Daffy if it is a boy and Daffney if it is a girl. We keep giving our daughter a hard time she is 17 saying we will be eating duck for thanksgiving or xmas but we are not.
