ya, i cant belive how that worked out. i was telling my husband just that morning i knew someone with a rat terrier pup and arent they supposed to catch mice? then we talked about another cat to keep just in the coop but i wasnt real keen on the idea of another cat. seems like ours are keeping busy but not in the coop and the mice are hiding in there . so i go to my cuz.s house and there the stray is, just terrified, hungry. my cousin cant feed it. and its like we just bonded right away. i wont keep it in there forever but it has to meet my other cats and make sure my forest cat wont kill it.(he brings me coons) so for now he is set except for a litter box. so if i cant have litter because of the chickens what about dirt ? will the chickens eat the cat poo? that would just be gross

UPDATE: hi all, just wanted to let everyone know I think my mice problems are over !! i knew the barn cats were catching mice but what i didnt know was that the mice were hiding where the cats couldnt get to them. so the new kitten is catching and putting them on the run and when they run my other cats are waiting. i have never seen so many dead little bodies laying around . now its my turn. guess i will use the pooper scooper.

i dont know. she is in the coop still. my little girl is eyeballing him , i have to make appts. for them both now. just wanted to make sure it would work out first, and my forest cat i havnt seen around him yet but he is starting to get mean with the girl so i think i need to get her in first. he is fixed already. expensive chickens i have.lol

i went and brought the new kitty in the house so we could meet a little better. its cold out anyway, and the dogs wanted him, the cats, kid, mom, everyone in the house. surprise he only wants me. i put him out of my lap to eat a bowl of cereal and forgot. it happens. just as i went to take a bite he jumped back up, i screamed , my captain crunch learned how to fly and everybody got a snack except me. unless you count my shirt.
