no dark cornish... Dark Cornish actually arent really meat birds, well they are but they really are not. They are suppose to be more of a pet chicken and lay one small egg a week

Lol the guy who I got them from made a trailer into a coturnix pen, he had atleast 700 birds in that one trailer! Yes a trailer! I told my mom I want to do that and she said no hahaha

they sure are supposed to be a meat bird?!? a bit more research on them and you will see the cornish is what is used to create todays common broiler. so indeed the cornish that is the other half of the "cornish cross" is a meat bird. that is why they are so stocky and plump. id rather breed cornish pure breds then have cornish crosses. or maybe brred my own crosses with white rocks. cornish themselves are not used as much as the cornish crosses because they are normal growers. they develope at a much more average rate then the crosses. and the bantams are for the barnyard and not so much the freezer... junkyard birds are what i call bantams. but i sure would loooveee to have a few cornish bantams on our farm. prehistoric lookin little fellas.

But back to your regularly scheduled quaily program.

I liked the first quail I saw on your video that was eating. Is that a brown?
