Good luck with your HATCH! Very interesting, you live in Florida and purchased eggs from Wash. state. The World's Best Breeder (Bev Davis) is from Florida!! I will be following this thread! Please share the hatching instructions. I hatched 19 out 20 eggs in June from Coulee City WA. He is almost my neighbor, 30 miles. He has one rooster Servicing five hands and has five setups like that all of those were collected within the last 32 hours before he ship them

Eggs have to be a #4 or better to meet SOP TOMView attachment 1553289 That’s what I was thinking that they were kind of light colored for BCM but a lot of people are breeding for SOP instead of egg color. I wonder how old the hens are as the eggs seem to lighten up as they get older. Mine are a little over a year old I have one that lays a lighter colored egg.
I didn’t know that I’m still on the low end of the learning curve for Marans, there is a lot to learn.Eggs have to be a #4 or better to meet SOP TOM
