Here we go eggs in trouble

Just got call from wife powers out, heading home to see what I can do I had here crack a hand warmer and throw it in bator till I get there to bring up the temp. Other suggestions driving ATM.

With our present ambient temperatures the eggs should be fine.

If the outage is long term, keep an eye on the incubator temperature and if it starts to drop, wrap a blanket over the incubator. If you do this monitor to make sure the temperature does not rise too high. Good luck.

Agree with Sourland. Brief outages won’t hurt. Remember, even a hen leaves her eggs at times.

My power was out 16 hours and and all my eggs hatched.

The last time we had a prolonged power outage (72 hours), I filled bottles with hot water and stuck them under and around the incubator, but this was in the winter and it was quite cool inside.
