This is "Daphne." I'm quite sure that "Daphne" will be renamed "Dave." S/he's about 4 months old, I think. There hasn't been any crowing. S/he's very timid, and will only infrequently boss another chicken around. S/he's mostly solitary. I'm just curious about other opinions.

Once I have the genders established (and here's hoping I have one of each!), I'd like to post good conformation shots of each. I'd like to know if I should breed them, or not. If they don't appear to be good quality Silkies, then I won't hatch any eggs from them. But, if they are nice, according to the Silky experts here, I'd like to explore and see if there's a demand in my area for Silky chicks.

One problem is that out of 8 chickens, I already have one confirmed cockerel (an alleged Rhode Island Red). The white Silky does appear to be a cockerel. So that leaves me with 6 pullets.

I need me some more chickens!!
