Very nice job! I totally understand waiting for that $1000 egg thing. We've been getting eggs for a year now and are figuring it'll take another 50 years (or more) to pay off our coop.
But, at least all our chickens are happy!!

To be honest I think I enjoyed building it and taking care of the birds More than eating the spoiles just like the tomatoes in the garden cause when they come bang your full. I think the eggs will be the same way. These girlss are a great hobbie we had chickens when we were kids and havent had them for 30 years I'm glad I started again. After having the chicken coop for a while and it got that chicken coop smell boy did that bring back memories. My brother came for a visit and that was the first thing he said also!
