Hello! I have been looking at this site for a little while now and decided I should finally become a member. I live in Central Maine and have a flock of 13 or maybe its 15...I lose track. I have only started with chickens about 3 years ago when we found 2 stray chickens on our doorstep one snowy evening. We had a coop on the property from the previous tenants. Put them in there for the night and the rest is history.
Right now I have1 blue Maran, 2 salmon faverolles, 5 lakeshore eggers, and a bunch of what I think are cuckoo marans from a random neighbor. Been doing pretty good with everyone until a recent unexplained death and 2 chickens who are lethargic....I need help! I'm excited to be here and learn as much as I can from you guys about having the healthiest chickens as possible...
