Here's my new babies.

They began hatching Saturday night. As of Monday morning there are still four eggs left. How long do I let her set on them? I think the three black ones are silkies? They have black beaks. How could I get a black silkie if my silkie hen is white and my silkie roo is red?

Any ideas on what the little brown one is? The eggs came from a silkie, a cochin and the hen in the picture.

Bump. How long should I leave the unhatched eggs?

I think leaving them about 25 days is good, unless the hen stops sitting on them, then you may have to candle them to see if they look like they will hatch anyway.

I had 2 eggs in an incubator that hatched saturday, and sunday was their "hatch day" and I still have 7 eggs left that haven't even pipped.... I'm hopeful, so I'm waiting the 25 days
