I have two red hens that are just like her.
Actually, they have stranger head feathers since they are going through a molt.

And she looks like quite the character!!! She's just missing the poofy head feathers. I think it's kinda nice... she can actually see where she's going LOL Maybe why she isn't interested in being held, she has a world to explore!
