Sorry, this is PICKUP only (don't kill me, LOL). I have TWO dozen eggs collected, mostly Delawares and maybe a half doz BBS Orps. The Delawares pullet eggs are getting larger, too, and some are very dark. I love the color of these and I'm sure you will, too.
$20 will include whatever extras I collect till you come get them. I'm in Fannin County, right at the NC line.
Pictures of the breeders available upon request. Thanks.

AMENDED to say: there are three dozen eggs in this batch now! There is great fertility with the Delawares, as Bird Brain will attest. If they aren't claimed by Wednesday, they'll lose hatchability fast and I'll put them in the fridge. Sorry they can't be shipped this time.

If only I weren't 3,000 miles away...

LOL, sorry, hon. I have no more packing materials and I am laid up with a sprain and unable to go get any right now. Plus, I dont ship till after summer's over anyway.

Bird Brain, that was a great hatch!!! Awesome! Congratulations.

As a matter of fact I was going to pm you to see if you sold eggs. I'm in NY so I obviously can't pick them up.
If in the future you decide to ship I'll send you the necessary box and packing etc. If I have to.
I hatched some this past month and I just don't like the looks of the chicks. I had three w/ green legs and feet. 3w/ yellow. But they have too much barring on the backs. The roo has too much so I plan to get rid of him and replace him and some of the hens.
As for eggs they are great layers as you might remember. 3.7 eggs a day for 4 hens.
My bro lives in Mocksville near Greensboro, but I have no plans to visit. If i do I'll let you know cause I can't understand why Delawares are so hard to find here. They are definitely underated.

Rats and drats I want summer to be over today. Sorry about the sprain though. I hope you have a good book or movie.

Do look for sets of these to go up later on when the weather cools down. I know most want them shipped, but I just happened to have all these that it seemed a shame to put in the fridge. If I had a broody at the moment, she'd get 'em, but alas, for the first time in months, no broodies.
