P. Allen Smith is available for 'consultation" work. maybe you could get him to come down and show you how to design that new cotton wagon coop and landscape the entire farm for you!

The trailer we have is not as long, but completely enclosed on all sides and about 6' tall. Not that my husband or I are not capable of building housing, we are both long-time carpenters employed in construction: It is a time and materials issue. We are still putting the final touches on our duck/geese housing and starting on a shelter for our dairy cow+calf next.
Here is our latest project...our duck/geese house: It still needs some decorative trim boards on the corners and under the eaves....plus a cupola, to install the cottage sized duck weather-vane that "landed" at our house

and to finally landscape the area after we expand the pond a bit more.

I just thought that the trailer would be an easy conversion and only cost the roofing materials. Plus we can pull it around the property with the tractor too!

Thanks for that! I have read quite a bit of what they have posted here and can tell they really know their stuff. Once I get a firm ship date on the eggs I got yesterday, I am going to go ahead and schedule a batch from Steve and Sharon as well.

(Smart-Alec mode on).....You know, anytime the word "consultation" is used it reminds me of interior designers....no offense if anyone who posts here is one. On the jobs I've done where one is hired, whether it's a remodel, trim, or tile job, they tend to force their will on the customer and then stand back and bark orders at everybody who is working there. When it's all finished I've heard they send a huge bill for their "services" when they didn't lift a finger or do any real work.

Nah, we don't plan on landscaping our farm, we'd like to make practical use of every square inch of the sparse 7 acres we own: Gardens, orchard, pastures, and animal housing. Besides, I am pretty sure the goats, cow, horse, or chickens would greatly enjoy eating any landscaping plants we chose to plant and not to protect anyway: I know the goats and chickens would for sure (hard enough to protect the fruit trees from the goats if one manages to escape goat-catraz).

So, I think I'll pass on P. Allen Smith's consultation......
thanks all the same. (smart-Alec mode off.....my post was not meant to take a shot at anyone...please don't take it that way: I appreciate everyone who answers a post)

Consultant

From
Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A consultant (from Latin: consultare "to discuss") is a professional who provides professional or expert advice

Says nothing about work. They just give advice!

Hmm, lost of money? I think I will become a consultant! So for now on, anyone wanting my advice, please provide your PayPal account with your questions.
